Don Bosco School of Theology (DBST) continues to strengthen its commitment to ecological conversion, research, and global collaboration through a fruitful meeting at Campion Hall, University of Oxford.
Representing DBST were Fr. Francis Gustilo, SDB, President; Mr. Peter John (PJ) Cumpas, Administrator; and Ms. May Ferreros, Head of the Institutional Advancement Program Office (IAPO). They met with the leadership team of the Laudato Si’ Research Institute, namely Dr. Sarah Apetrei, Harriet David, Dr. Rebekah Wallace, Fr. Peter Rožič, SJ, and Fr. Patrick Riordan, SJ.
The DBST delegation was accompanied by Professor Dr. Roland Daw of St Mary’s University, a distinguished scholar in environmental research and sustainability.
The meeting explored various opportunities for collaboration and partnership in the areas of ecological education, research, formation, and the promotion of the vision of Laudato Si’. The dialogue highlighted a shared commitment to advancing integral ecology through academic engagement, pastoral initiatives, and innovative programs that respond to the urgent call to care for our common home.
