STRIATED GRASSBIRD

This large warbler is common throughout the country, especially in scrub covered open fields and hillsides. The flight is weak and low above the ground and it makes a collection of ringing notes, the call a distinct tchak .It has a rufous crown, brown upper parts and dark brown streaks, and creamy-white underparts.
