MOUNTAIN WHITE EYE

Found throughout Indonesia and the Philippines, in many different races, this species occurs in elevations over 1,000m. Its loose, large flocks move actively through the forest and forest edge feeding on fruits and insects. The upper parts are olive-green, yellower on the forehead, throat and undertail-coverts, and white on belly and breast. It gets the name white-eye from the color around the eyes.
