Bachelor in Sacred Theology

Courses Offered

The BTh course is a four-year ecclesiastical degree program affiliated with the Faculty of Theology of the Salesian Pontifical University in Rome and duly recognized by the Sacred Congregation for Catholic Education. A Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy (PhB or AB Philosophy), or completion of the required Philosophy subjects is essential to take this course.

Application Requirements

  1. Photocopy / Scan of the Original Transcript of Records (TOR) or Certificate of Grades (in pdf file) from the previous school (undergraduate or graduate and Philosophical Studies) and its English translation if the TOR is in a foreign language (For evaluation purposes only)
  2. One 2×2 picture (jpeg file)
  3. Letter of Recommendation (from the Religious Superior or Formator-in-charge, Bishop) (pdf file)
  4. Copy of the Course Description from the last Theology school attended. (additional Requirements for Transfer Students)
  5. Entrance Examination Fee

Additional Requirements for INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

  1. Copy of the Certificate of Graduation indicating the Degree Title and Date of Graduation (Philosophical Studies) (pdf file)
  2. Copy of the Transcript of Records
  3. Copy of passport information (showing photo, data, latest admissions and validity of stay) (pdf file)
  4. Copy of Visa (Student or Missionary Visa) (pdf file)

  1. Original Transcript of Records of (Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy [PhB] or Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy [AB Philosophy] (PURPOSE: FOR DON BOSCO SCHOOL OF THEOLOGY) for local students. Original Transcript of Records of (Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy [PhB] or Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy [AB Philosophy])(for foreign student)
  2. Transfer Credential Certificate or Eligibility to Transfer from the school last attended (for local students)
  3. Three [3] copies of 2 x 2 pictures with white background
